Ecoquartier Saint-Vincent-de-Paul
Mission: Urban Analysis / Programming / Workshops
Client : RIVP
Located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, Saint-Vincent-de-Paul is an abandoned hospital currently activated by temporary uses (Les Grands Voisins). The 3,4 hectares site will be transformed into an eco-district offering a wide range of housing options including 50% of social housing, shops, offices, a school, a major cultural institution, a nursery, a sport equipment and generous public spaces.
The Street Society, together with Soletdev, has been tasked by RIVP (real estate agency from the City of Paris) to come up with a strategic plan to design the future uses of each of the ground floor spaces. These spaces, which will be owned by the RIVP, will have to offer a wide range of uses and activities in line with the high environmental and social ambition of the neighbourhood.
The mission involves organising meetings and workshops with the stakeholders of the project, carrying an urban analysis, benchmarking, and designing a strategic plan indicating the future uses of the ground floor spaces.
